The Golden Sands of Cabopino Beach
Known as the best beach between Marbella and Malaga, Cabopino Beach is definitely something to add to your holiday itinerary. It’s a twenty to twenty-five-minute drive by car from Benalmadena Pueblo to the beach but it is so worth it.
So what makes Cabopino beach better than the rest?
Its cleaner and is covered in fine white sands with hardly any pebbles and stones mixed in. The beach is framed by stunning sand dunes and the turquoise-blue water makes it the perfect place to cool off. There are also local chiringuitos, or bar-shacks located on the beach offering drinks and light refreshments. This combination easily makes this beach one of the most popular in the area so be careful about going here at the weekends, especially during the summer months.
Another great feature of this beach is the old sandy coloured tower close to the entrance of the car park to the beach. This little tower makes for some great photos, especially in the evening time when the sky is filled with the pink and purple hues of sunset.
Cabopino Harbour
Once you have soaked up the sunshine on the beach, take a walk along the harbour in Cabopino to enjoy the pretty promenade. There are lots of local cafes and marina restaurants to choose from and it is only a stone’s throw away from the beach.
Cabopino beach is well sheltered from the elements and is very high on safety, making it a great spot for all age groups to enjoy this natural beauty.
