Zenia Boulevard Shopping Centre | Orihuela Costa

Zenia Boulevard Shopping Centre | Orihuela Costa

From Amelia Carey

Today I’m going to be showing you the best place for shopping in all of Orihuela Costa.
It’s the Zenia Boulevard Shopping Centre and it is the biggest shopping centre in the province of Alicante.

It’s located right in the heart of La Zenia and is easily accessible from the N332 and AP7.
There is absolutely loads of parking available so finding a space isn’t a problem. But if you don’t drive you can get there easily by bus or taxi. The bus stop and taxi rank can be found directly outside the main entrance.

Although it is a big shopping centre, don’t worry, you won’t get lost as there are maps at each entrance, showing you the layout of the Boulevard and the list of stores.

Now, some of these might be your favourite brands and some of these you might never have heard of, which is a great opportunity to check out a new store and maybe find a new favourite.
If you do find a store that is one of your favourites, let me know in the comments below.

Zenia Boulevard has over 150 shops and there’s a wide variety of stores here so whether you’re shopping on a budget or looking for some designer brands you’re guaranteed to find what you’re looking for and I’d feel pretty comfortable saying that there’s something here for everyone which makes it a really good place to get a gift.

Of course, some of you may be coming with children and that’s no problem. There’s a children’s play area here So you can let your little ones burn off some energy. For the bigger kids, or if you want to bring out your own inner child, there is a bowling alley and arcade. This is the perfect spot for hanging out with friends or when having family days out when the weather isn’t great. But, to be fair, we get 300 days of sunshine here a year so that’s usually not a problem.

I love the layout of the mall as it allows you to be outside and the entire place makes it feel like you’re in this small little village with some really cool architecture. There are shaded areas scattered around along with a few benches which are perfect for a little break as you walk around or to leave the husband outside with all the bags.

There is a stage right in the middle of the shopping centre which provides free shows during the summer and this can be seen from all the restaurants on the upper level. Timetables are available at the info desk. There is also a huge LED TV screen above the stage which shows major sporting events.

Talking about the info desk, a little tip, if you go to zeniaboulevard.es you can join their loyalty club that gives you discounts off selected stores.

It’s important to stay nourished when we’re out and about. That’s why we’re going to check out Bombon Boss, which is my go-to place every time I come here when I get a little peckish. This cute little cafe has a great selection of pastries, both sweet and savoury, which are delicious.

Bombon Boss is one of the only cafes on the main level and as it has a shaded seating area outside it’s the perfect place to stop off halfway through your day.

But if you do want something a bit more substantial the upper level has loads of options with everything from Fast food to Spanish Tapas to Buffets to sit-down restaurants.

If you’re not hungry but your kids are looking for their sugar fix there are a few stands where you can buy ice-creams, frozen yoghurt and other snacks.

As you’d expect, there are toilets located throughout the centre. At the entrance to the toilets next to Primark you’ll find ATM’s, lockers in case you need to store any belongings and you’ll also find Amazon lockers for collecting your online orders.

If you’re looking to do your weekly food shop, you’ll find Alcampo next to Primark which is a huge supermarket full of all the groceries you could possibly need. You’ll also find a hairdresser in here and a few little shops. Another little tip: if you buy in Alcampo, keep your receipt as you can use it to get a discount on your petrol at the Alcampo Petrol station directly outside the Boulevard.
