Barcelona Part 2 from Millie Moments

Come with us as we spend our second day in Barcelona exploring the best viewpoints!

We start our day off at La Rambla which is the most popular tourist spot in Barcelona then head to the most vibrant market in Barcelona (on La Rambla), La Boqueria and get some delicious smoothies for only €2 each!

We were so glad we fuelled up with those smoothies as it was such a steep walk to our first viewpoint… Park Guell! We got a metro from La Rambla, then it was a 10 minute walk to Park Guell (wear comfortable shoes). Yes, Park Guell give fantastic views of Barcelona, but is it really worth it? It is very crowded and loud, people pushing and shoving to get photos, basically not a very peaceful experience… But I have heard that the mornings are much quieter, so if you go then i’d say it would be worth it as the views really are spectacular!

But I have got to say, by far the best viewpoint we visited was actually Las Arenas, which is an old bullring transformed into a shopping centre! How cool is that?! As soon as you get to Las Arenas, head straight to the top floor and you get a 360° of Barcelona! We went at sunset and it was perfect as you see the sky change colour and the city light up at night. This is a must-see in Barcelona!
