Park of Nations, Torrevieja | Parque de las Naciones
From Amelia Carey
The Park of Nations is a beautiful park in Torrevieja. As soon as you walk into the park, the first thing you’ll notice is all the flags of Europe surrounding the large pond which is actually built in the shape of Europe! You’ll see plenty of wildlife here such as ducks, geese, turtles & fish. Make sure to bring plenty of bird seeds as the animals here are so friendly and eat them out of your hands! It is a perfect place to bring the kids as there is a play area here and you’ll feel safe knowing the park is fenced off to the public. While the kids are having a play, there is a kiosk and lots of benches scattered around so you can grab a drink and an ice cream and chill out for the afternoon. It can be quite tricky to find parking outside the Park of Nations so we would recommend parking at Carrefour which is only a short 5-10 stroll away. I hope you enjoy your time visiting here and let me know if you have already visited!
